For July's book club we're going to spend some time with Julia Child. Her memoir, co-written with her nephew Alex Prud'Homme, is a delightful reminiscence of her years living in France with her beloved husband Paul. It was also the basis for the Julia half of the movie "Julie & Julia." It's a great coming-of-age story of a woman who finds her calling in an unexpected place and time of life. We'll be serving some French wine, of course, and some Parisian-inspired treats. Everyone is welcome.
