Chateau Montelena is a Napa Valley winery most famous for winning the white wine section of the historic "Judgment of Paris" wine competition. Decades later, the vineyard is still known for producing amazing Chardonnay. It smells of green apple pie, bright and a little citrus-y. The palate is very smooth, with classic flavors of apple and kiwi, and a lovely, refreshing finish.
